How this wiki works
Big Ambitions was in Early Access for years before 1.0 landed on 28 August 2026. In that time the economy was rebalanced repeatedly, whole systems were replaced, and the map grew. None of that invalidates the guides people wrote along the way, but it does mean a price, a salary or a logistics cap you find online is only meaningful if you know which build it came from.
Almost nobody labels that. So this wiki does.
Every number carries a build
Figures on this site are tagged with the version they were observed in and the source they came from. Where we only have an Early Access figure, the page says so and does not present it as current. Where 1.0 changed something, the page says what it was before.
The backbone for this is the developer's own update history: a hundred official posts running from Early Access 0.1 through the 1.0 changelog and the first patch after it. That is first-party and it settles most version questions on its own.
What we deliberately do not do
We do not publish a per-item price list. Building one properly takes a great deal of in-game measurement, another fansite has been accumulating exactly that since 2023, and a second-hand copy of their work would be worse than the original and would go stale without anyone noticing.
We also do not rank the best starting business. The games press does not agree with itself on this, the answer moved between builds, and a confident ranking would be an opinion wearing a table's clothes.
Where we correct the record
The community wiki is mid-overhaul: two editors are working through it tagging pages that only applied to Early Access. That work is not finished, and some pages still carry figures that 1.0 replaced. One page still says the city has five neighbourhoods when 1.0 has seven. One vehicle table has Spanish-language rows bleeding into the English one. One apartment row has the wrong rent copied into it.
Rather than quietly route around those, we list them, because a reader who has already seen the wrong number needs to be told it is wrong, not merely shown a different one.
Where the sources contradict each other
Logistics is the worst case. Three pages give three different delivery capacities, and two give different delivery times. We describe how the system works in direction and shape, and we do not print a number that three sources cannot agree on. If you can settle it with a screenshot, we would very much like to hear from you.
