The short version
No sign-ups, no forms, no accounts. The only data involved is anonymous traffic measurement and whatever cookies an advertising network sets.
Traffic measurement
Google Analytics 4 tells us which pages get read and roughly where readers are. It records pages visited, an approximate location, and browser and device type, using cookies. Google truncates IP addresses before storing them and we never see an individual reader.
Advertising
Pages may carry ads from third-party networks including Google AdSense, which can set their own cookies and use browsing history from other sites to select ads. Personalised advertising can be turned off in your Google Ads Settings, and blocking third-party cookies stops most of it anyway.
Email you send us
A correction email is kept only until the correction is checked and applied, then deleted. It is added to no list.
